Peace Child Orphanage is based at the foot of the Himalayas in the bustling town of Pokhara. It is home to a wonderful group of children who are lucky enough to enjoy the shelter, support and education offered by Binod and his family. When the children are not at school, helping around the house or playing games in the back garden, they sometimes enjoy trips out to the playground and other recreational activities.
The orphanage was set up in 2003 by Binod whose vision was to provide shelter, food and education to as many children as possible who would otherwise have had no such opportunities in life. With the continued help and encouragement of volunteers and sponsors from around the world, this vision is realised daily in the growing sea of smiling faces that welcome you at their door.
