The main aim of the school and orphanage is to provide opportunities for children in the poorest area of Pokhara who would otherwise be denied a basic education and/or shelter. Both the orphanage and the school are hugely popular amongst the orphans and local children alike, so much so that more space is needed as the project and the children develop. Ideally Binod would like to continue housing this program in the most poverty stricken area of Pokhara whilst securing a larger base from which to fulfil his dream, that of providing education and refuge for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children in the local community.
